Themed retail outlets are opening at Battersea Power Station

Battersea Power Station is set to house the world’s first standalone Transformers and Peppa Pig stores from November.

The themed retail outlets, a partnership between Hasbro and Event Merchandising, will offer a vast selection of merchandise, as well as interactive experiences.

At the Peppa Pig store, guests will enjoy interactive elements including the chance to sit in the driver’s seat of the Ty plush London bus.

Themed retail experiences

There will also be photo opportunities, muddy puddles to jump in, the opportunity to play and learn with various Peppa Pig toys and games, and free daily character interactions with Peppa herself.

Additionally, the store includes a soft play area and a stage where episodes of the Peppa Pig series will play throughout the day on a huge screen.

Next door, the Transformers store will sell the latest products across films, comics, toys and games. It will house themed areas and a graffiti mural displaying the Transformers robots.

Additionally, fans will see live demonstrations of the Robosen Transformers series, as well as demonstrations of Transformers video games and the Transformers AR trading card game by Vanch Studios.

The opening of Battersea Power Station and Electric Boulevard

The new stores are opening in the year that Transformers and Peppa Pig celebrate their 40th and 20th anniversaries respectively.

Hasbro has been expanding its LBE offering in recent years. The company is behind Peppa Pig theme parks in Florida and Germany, various Transformers experiences, and Nerf attractions.

As for Battersea Power Station, this opened to the public as a unique retail and leisure complex in October 2022.
