Connect&GO update Konnect Marketing & CRM

Update offers improved usability, with dynamic field mapping, group sales, and enhanced automation functions

Connect&GO, a leader in guest experience engineering and wearable RFID technology for attractions, has released a new update for Konnect Marketing & CRM, its marketing integration automation with ActiveCampaign.

The integration helps operators to use automation and real-time data to develop additional income, boost visitor engagement, and improve efficiency.

Enhanced automation

Konnect Marketing & CRM gives businesses fast access to the most recent visitor data, transaction history, and activity. Contacts are set up automatically, and purchase data is updated as orders are placed on an attraction’s website, so marketers are able to optimise their messaging.

Tara Morandi, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Connect&GO, explains: “Marketing teams no longer have to spend hours of tedious work exporting lists and importing them into a separate email system. With our ActiveCampaign integration, marketing and sales data is directly synched and available in real-time. That combined with the advanced marketing automation features that ActiveCampaign offers is truly a game-changer for marketing teams.”

Marketers can develop automated journeys using real-time data from Konnect and ActiveCampaign’s easy-to-use platform. Automated messaging can help promote engagement, for example using pre-visit communication, post-visit communication, abandoned cart communication, and more.

Morandi adds: “Our Konnect Marketing & CRM is so much more than a communications tool, though. Our flexible automations can also help you organize contacts in a very granular way that gives you rich (and actionable) insight into your guests’ behavior.”

Dynamic field mapping

The Konnect integration was first launched in 2019. The latest update has developed the platform’s usability, and the new Dynamic Fields Mapper and CRM Engine make it easier to set up customer fields which synch between Konnect and ActiveCampaign.

Operators can use the Dynamic Fields Mapper to create automations that communicate with visitors at each step of their journey more easily.  The update enables them to map customer and purchase information (like next visit date, account type, and language) to their appropriate fields in ActiveCampaign.

Additionally, a new Account Sync gives organisations the ability to automatically upload contact and order information from transactions made in person, ensuring that they always have the most recent information available.

“Timing is everything with marketing,” says Morandi, “and our new account sync features make it easier for operators to ensure that no opportunities to reach their most engaged guests are missed.”

Efficient group sales

A new Reservations Sync function supports automated group sales procedures, such as lead scoring and communication. The new tool connects ActiveCampaign to information about group sales, including reservation status, date, value, and items. This data is automatically updated in ActiveCampaign’s B2B pipeline as reservations progress through the workflow, making it simpler for teams to get in touch with groups at the right times.

Marc-André Dubé, director of product management at Connect&GO, says: “At Connect&GO we believe in the power of real-time data to help operators simplify processes so that they can grow their revenue and better focus on their guests. We’re excited to introduce the new Reservations Sync to help group sales teams spend less time on administrative work and more time on other areas that add value to their attraction.”

Individual reservations can also be synced, giving operators greater possibilities for automating personalised follow-ups during the visitor journey. For example, if a guest cancels a reservation, an attraction could send them an invitation to re-book on a different date. Alternatively, when a reservation date approaches, they could send an information pack to help guests prepare for their visit, with recommended products.

Connect&GO is well-known for its cutting-edge RFID technologies and all-in-one platform, Konnect. This seamlessly links eCommerce, point-of-sale, access control, cashless, and more, merging 10 different systems into a single integrated solution with real-time data.

The company has now been operating for 10 years and provides services to water parks, family entertainment centres, theme parks, and many other attractions across the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Middle East.

Xiaofei Zhang, senior director of strategic partnerships at ActiveCampaign, comments: “We are excited to partner with Connect&GO to help the attractions industry innovate and grow. At ActiveCampaign, we are dedicated to helping growing businesses gain access to sophisticated tools that were once only available to larger companies. We look forward to helping even more water parks, attractions and family entertainment centers revolutionize their operations through the power of automation!”

Connect&GO recently announced a collaboration with The Village Québécois d’Antan, Canada. It will supply the Konnect all-in-one attractions management platform to the living museum and heritage site.
