QLINE Consulting, a specialist consultancy in ticketing, tourism and technology, is inviting supplier tender responses for ticketing, Gift Aid annual pass, retail and catering software at Eureka! locations in the UK.
The educational charity, Eureka! operates two visitor attractions. Each venue promotes learning through play, with themed areas, outdoor spaces, and special events to offer engaging and accessible education for all children, including those with additional needs.
The National Children’s Museum debuted in 1992 in Halifax, West Yorkshire. The attraction was developed for audiences aged 0 to 11, and includes interactive exhibits which explore science, technology, the human body, and day-to-day life.
A second venue, Eureka! Science + Discovery, opened in 2022 on the Wirral in Merseyside. This site was designed to engage older children and teenagers, and takes a future-focused approach to science, technology, engineering, and innovation.

Optimising operations & elevating experience
The new booking system will boost operational efficiency, streamline processes, and enhance overall visitor experience.
To further improve the overall visitor experience, proposals with an integrated CRM are welcome. This will effectively manage guest interactions, monitor annual pass use, and deliver seamless visitor communications.
The new system should be easy for the team to use, improve access to customer data, and expedite procedures to remove bottlenecks. It should lessen the dependence on manual procedures, integrate commercial areas with a unified POS and stock system, and enhance entry for pre-booked tickets.
The deadline for proposals is 22 August 2025. Full details are available here.
QLINE Consulting recently issued a request for proposal (RFP) for ticketing, membership, retail and catering software solutions for The Calanais Visitor Centre on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland. The consultancy is managing the tender process on behalf of Urras nan Tursachan (The Standing Stones Trust).
Last month, it announced the launch of Ticketing Ready, a digital platform created in collaboration with b2me Tourism Marketing. This platform is free for attractions and helps them better understand their ticketing requirements in order to engage the right vendors quicker and more confidently.
