Smeetz, a provider of smart all-in-one ticketing software for leisure and cultural attractions, has revealed its latest innovation, a new point-of-sale solution that adds to the company’s unified commerce product, tailored for visitor attractions. Now, operators can sell tickets, merchandise and F&B across one platform.

The company believes that a key challenge for operators is the lack of connections between the various software products that are required to run an attractions business in today’s digital world. For instance, there is often separate software in use for online ticketing, ticket offices, marketing, F&B, resources management, pricing and more.

By offering a single solution to manage all aspects of a visitor attraction business, Smeetz enables clients to measure visitor spending across channels and collect data at all touchpoints of the customer journey. This information can then be used to drive marketing and sales strategies with cross-selling recommendations based on AI as well as to improve business operations with tailored forecasts.

Smeetz’s new point-of-sale offering includes built-in software that combines the modernity of cloud-based solutions with the reliability of strong hardware systems, integrated payment processing, visitor tracking along the customer journey, and smart inventory management with real-time data between online and onsite sales and offline capabilities to sell even when the internet connection is down.

Attendees at IAAPA Expo 2022 will be able to discover the new solution in person, as well as the firm’s self-service kiosk and more, at booth #4547. The team will also take part in the Point of Sale tour number 3 on Tuesday 15 November at 1:30 pm. To book a meeting ahead of time, please click here.

“We are grateful for this new all-in-one system which allows our team to be faster at the entrance and in the museum shop. The Smeetz team has been very supportive in our transition from an outdated ticketing system to their modern and innovative solution,” says Marina Devantéry, head of ticketing & accounting at the Hermitage Foundation.

Baptiste Guyon, product manager at Smeetz adds: “What 90% of ticketing providers plan to offer within 3 years in terms of omnichannel sales strategy for visitor attractions, Smeetz offers it today with its new Point of Sale completing its unified commerce solution.”

Smeetz has put in a lot of effort over the past five years to establish itself as one of Europe’s top unified commerce for attractions. Its team and product have expanded this year, establishing new offices in Europe, and thanks to recent investment, it has launched its unified commerce solution for attractions.
