Connect&GO partners with UEAT on integrated online ordering platform

News
Connect&GO UEAT partnership

Visitors will be able to order food and drink directly from their phone, without queuing

Connect&GO, a leader in guest experience engineering and wearable RFID technology for events and attractions, has partnered with UEAT in order to provide a contactless self-ordering online solution for restaurants. The solution will be ideal for stadiums, resorts, amusement parks, sporting events, festivals and more.

UEAT is a Canadian company that provides AI-powered systems for restaurants, ghost kitchens and hotels. Now, Connect&GO will use its expertise to bring the solution to the attractions industry, implementing it in a major water park and several amusement parks across the US and Canada.

Improving the guest experience

With Connect&GO’s fully integrated Konnect virtual wallet, visitors at events and attractions will be able to order food directly from their mobile devices, through the app or on the web, from on-site concessions, therefore avoiding unnecessary queues.

“When over 10,000 visitors get hungry at the same time, you must be highly efficient regarding logistics,” says Marc-André Dubé, Technical Director, Product Management at Connect&GO. “With Konnect Mobile Ordering, our clients benefit from the most advanced technology to avoid logistical issues and improve their guests’ experience.”

As a result of this partnership, visitors will have a range of food and beverage choices right on their phone, and will also be able to group multiple selections from different businesses into one order, as well as pre-paying using UEAT’s online ordering platform. Orders will be delivered via runners to the users’ location, such as their cabana, seat, table or other pre-determined locations.

Benefits for operators too

UEAT’s and Connect&GO’s unique integrated system offers many benefits to users and to F&B partners. For visitors, they can enjoy safe cashless transactions without waiting in line, freeing them up to enjoy their day out. Plus, with UEAT’s RAI, a recommendation module based on artificial intelligence, they have a relevant and personalized ordering experience according to their profile as a season ticket holder, or the weather forecast.

Meanwhile, F&B providers will benefit from greater exposure, and will also be able to better manage demand, plan inventory and improve productivity. They can also use RAI’s upselling features to increase revenue and access comprehensive analytics.

“We are thrilled to be working with Connect&GO as their team shares the same vision as we do: to incorporate the power of the latest technology to companies in the restaurant, hospitality, sports, and entertainment sectors,” says Alexandre Martin, UEAT’s CEO.

“By combining our artificial intelligence capabilities and online ordering platform with Connect&GO’s smart wristband and operations software, we are delivering a new generation of experiences for venues around the world.”

Dominic Gagnon, Connect&GO’s CEO adds, “Our partnership with UEAT allows us to offer events and venues the most advanced and efficient technology on the market. Our industry bore the brunt of the COVID-19 pandemic but, with it, new needs and trends have emerged, including online ordering and virtual queue management. With Konnect Mobile Ordering, our clients will be at the forefront of these new trends and will rapidly increase their revenues.”

Connect&GO also recently announced the launch of MPX, an immersive and interactive wristband for attractions.

Last month, blooloop spoke to members of the Connect&GO team to find out how its Play&GO solution is enhancing the guest experience at Granby Zoo.
