SPREE Interactive, a provider of family-friendly free-roam VR, has announced a successful opening of its VR attraction at Airtime Trampoline Park in Nuremberg, Germany.

Spree Interactive LogoSPREE Interactive is pleased with the performance of its SPREE VR Arena after the grand reopening of Airtime Trampoline Park in Nuremberg, Germany. The attraction reopened to the public last week with a new VR dedicated area, which uses the SPREE VR Arena as the anchor attraction.

This innovative VR Arena gives up to 20 people at a time an exciting virtual reality experience, which is interactive and encourages group play. This high capacity means that the SPREE VR Arena is the highest throughput location-based VR system on the market.

An ideal birthday party solution

Many LBE operations rely on birthday parties to make up a percentage of their profits, and Airtime is no different. In fact, birthdays account for 40% of Airtime’s business. The SPREE VR Arena is an ideal solution for birthday parties, and Airtime is now able to offer a VR birthday package to its customers.

“We are very happy to provide this brand new attraction from SPREE Interactive to our customers,” says Anne Busch, Marketing Lead at Airtime. “We were able to serve over 50 birthday parties in one day, with an average of over ten participants per group. SPREE is a highly profitable offering for us.”

Extreme Anteater

Visitors to Airtime after the launch also had the first play of Extreme Anteater, a VR game now out on general release that was produced in hours by SPREE Interactive. This game is easy to play and offers a casual gaming experience for all to enjoy.

The VR content is tailored to younger audiences and provides a short, fun, social interaction.  found at trampoline parks and with SPREE Interactive’s high throughput attraction, this makes it also perfect for kids’ birthday parties.

“This is a great milestone for us, as we are designing content that not only entertains and amazes players, but it is also well suited to create great business opportunities for our partners,” says Sarah Stief, VR Content Director at SPREE Interactive. “Kids and adults alike just fall in love with the Extreme Anteater game.”

SPREE Interactive

SPREE Interactive, which was formerly known as Holodeck VR, recently enjoyed a successful time at IAAPA Europe Expo, and will also be showcasing its products at the IATP International Trampoline Park Show in New Orleans and IAAPA Expo in Orlando.

The company delivers turnkey, large-scale, multiplayer, free-roaming commercial VR attraction systems for the location-based entertainment industry.
