The visitor centre for the world-famous Lascaux cave paintings in the South of France has opened.
The 20, 000-year-old Lascaux prehistoric cave art paintings are located in caves in Montignac which have been closed to the public for over 50 years.
Architecture firm Snøhetta has designed the visitor centre complex – Lascaux IV – to recreate the atmosphere of the caves reports Dezeen.
