Pioneering image and video capture company, Picsolve, has introduced innovative wristband technology at Madame Tussauds.
The new unified system allows guests to retrieve souvenir photos seamlessly, without the need for multiple paper tickets.
This is the first time the company has implemented its association wristband within an attraction.
Picsolve delivers eight opportunities for guests to pose with the venue’s famous collection of life-like wax figures. The choice includes One Direction, President Obama, Royal Family, the Star Wars attraction, Spirit of London ride, Sherlock Experience and Feel the Fashion.
Now, a simple scan of Picsolve’s wristband will automatically associate the wearer with each unique photo moment.
At the end of their visit, guests simply take their wristband to any dedicated photo point. There they can purchase both print and digital copies. In moments, they have the perfect take-home souvenir or an instant share on social media.
Alan Wright, CEO of Picsolve, stressed the importance of his company’s long-standing partnership with Merlin Entertainments:
“This pioneering technology can truly improve guests’ experience at Madame Tussauds and other attractions across the world.
“Our digital association wristband is just one way that we are looking to cater to the growing visitor demand for speed and convenient services that enhance their precious days out, ” he said.
Ed Fuller, GM at Madame Tussauds London, added: “Being our photography partner of choice, we are delighted with Picsolve’s latest addition to our visitor’s experience. We believe it will make guests’ interaction with photography redemption both seamless and enjoyable. We’re always keen to hear new ways of continuing to enhance the Madame Tussauds London experience.
“We are looking forward to working with Picsolve on new technology innovations throughout 2017.”
