A leader in theme construction, COST of Wisconsin Inc., has opened a new office in Orange County, California, to better serve its West Coast clients.
The new office, located close to Los Angeles, will serve as a project management hub for the company’s increasing number of West Coast projects. The site also includes production space for light specialty fabrication services and equipment storage.
The southern California team is led by Omar Rodriguez who has over twenty-nine years’ experience in water feature and theme construction. According to COST, his specialist knowledge of theme park and museum theming, as well as naturalistic and architectural water features, has proved a valuable asset to the company’s local customer base.
COST’s Vice-Presidents, Christopher Foster and Greg Marks, will share time in the Los Angeles office, assisting Rodriguez with business operations.
Founded in 1957, COST is a leader in the construction of rockwork, water features, sculptures, ruins, theme finishes, scenery, faux trees, aquariums, and architectural fountains.
The company works in a wide variety of materials including GFRC, FRP, urethanes, epoxies, acrylics, wood/theme carpentry and shotcrete applications. Clients past and present include major names such as Disney, Universal Studios and the Smithsonian Institute.
