Kalahari Resorts and Conventions is opening ‘America’s largest indoor water park‘ alongside the African-themed resort in Round Rock, Texas on November 12.
Kalahari Resorts and Conventions has existing properties in Wisconsin, Ohio and Pennsylvania, making the Round Rock attraction its fourth Kalahari Resort.
The latest Kalahari Resort boasts a water park set across 223,000 square feet. Attractions include slides such as Barrelling Baboon, Rippling Rhino, and Screaming Hyena.
Kalahari Resort Texas also features cabanas, a water play area called Coral Cove, the Flowrider wave simulator, a swim-up bar for adults, a lazy river and lagoon.

Additional slides include Zig Zag Zebra, The Smoke that Thunders, Tanzanian Twister, Swahili Swirl, Serengeti Spinner, Sahara Sidewinders and Kenya Korkscrew.

“We have 1.5 million square feet of space to play and room to roam. Itās been a challenging year, and what better way to get away from the worry and enjoy time having fun together as a family and community.”
The resort is located 20 miles from Austin and also includes state-of-the-art meeting and convention space, dining options, retail, indoor and outdoor attractions, and a spa and salon.

The resort complex is set across 350 acres, and includes three acres of outdoor pools, Tom Foolerys Adventure Park, 975 guest rooms, five restaurants, and 10,000 square feet of retail space.
Meanwhile, Miami-Dade County is set to review a proposal to award developers $13.5m for the Miami Wilds project, which includes a hotel, water park, and retail.
Miami Wilds will be the first new entertainment project anchored by a water park in the Miami market. The proposed development is adjacent toĀ Zoo Miami.
