Socrates Imaging International, a leader in image and video capture solutions for the attraction industry, is welcoming John Bennetts as its new CTO and celebrating the promotion of Nick Buckley to CEO.

Socrates Imaging International has announced some staffing changes following a restructure. John Bennetts has now taken on the role of Chief Technical Officer (CTO), while Nick Buckley moves to the role of CEO.
Bennetts brings a wealth of experience to his new position, having worked in the attractions imaging industry for more than 20 years, and will work to enhance the company’s quality product range and support.
Coordinating the company’s growth
Meanwhile, Buckley has been promoted to CEO from his previous position of International Sales Manager. Like Bennetts, he has also worked in the industry for over 20 years, and will now spearhead the coordination of Socrates recent and continuing growth.

Pim Sonepouse has moved from the role of CEO to take on the Executive Chairman position. Sonepouse is the company’s founder and the man behind many of its cutting-edge innovations, such as the on-ride video Rabbit 2.0. The restructure will allow him to focus on leading the company’s R&D and look towards future innovations.
Socrates is working with several new partners as it moves into the new year, and will also be working to improve its offer at its existing partner attractions moving forward. While this year has been a challenging one for the industry, the company is now well-positioned for a successful 2021.
Socrates Imaging International is an expert in capturing memorable moments at attractions, creating photo and video souvenirs that will be cherished by visitors. As well as providing an enhanced guest experience, these souvenirs also increase revenue and help to promote the venue through social media shares.
The company provides solutions for theme parks, water parks, adventure parks, aquariums, zoos, museums and more.
