Kings Island Camp Cedar is set to open on June 14, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. The luxury outdoor resort was created for families and RV travellers.
Located on more than 50 acres of land close to the Kings Island theme park, Camp Cedar is home to 73 cottages and 164 full-service RV spaces, with 100 additional cottages planned.
Camp Cedar also includes pools, ponds, walking trails and Belize Street, an F&B experience offering outlets such as Route 66, The Fresh Tortilla, Urban Cow and Beach Box.
Camp Cedar is owned by Small Brothers and Terra Firma Associates, and managed by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company.

“It’s natural for us to partner with Cedar Fair, the owners of Kings Island,” said Jon Small, chairman and CEO of Small Brothers.
“As a top destination in the area, their ability to entertain and provide a place to create lasting memories is exactly the type of experience we want our visitors to have at Kings Island Camp Cedar.”
The camp’s signature restaurant, Ironwood Grill & Tap, is located at Hornbeam Lodge, as is The Dry Bean – Coffee and Gelato Bar. There will also be Peanuts character appearances, such as Smores with Snoopy.
Amenities at the site include bathhouses, laundry facilities, firepits, grills and picnic tables. Kings Island officials expect more than 200,000 guests annually.
