Polin Waterparks, a leader and innovator in waterpark technology, has announced that Matteo Ferrarini has joined the Polin Western Europe team as business development manager in Italy.
Ferrarini has over two decades of experience in installation, project management, sales, and customer relationships. As business development manager, he will be responsible for building strategic partnerships with potential customers and supporting key business initiatives, while working towards growing the waterpark industry in Italy as Polin Group continues to strengthen its global presence.
An experienced technical and commercial professional
The new hire brings a wealth of experience. He previously worked for Myrtha Pools as a field engineer and later on as an installation manager. In 1998, he began working on both technical and commercial sides at Myrtha Pool’s Sport & Tempo Libero unit, and during that same year, he worked on his first collaboration with Polin Waterparks.
From 2008 to 2019, Ferrarini was commercial director of Sport & Tempo Libero. Following this, his most recent role was as the commercial director of Clax Italia for swimming pool projects. now, he will look after business development for Polin Waterparks in West Europe.

Recently, Polin Waterparks celebrated the installation of three new Aquatube water slides at Beach Park Waterpark near Fortaleza Airport in Aquiraz, Ceará, in Brazil, which is one of the largest water parks in Latin America.
The new attraction, Tobomusik, features three different routes and allows guests to enjoy an immersive experience complete with light and sound effects. Each tube has different graphic cutouts and colours and guests ride headfirst on mats.
