Through Magic of Giving campaign, company raised funds for three charities in 2021

Photogenic Inc. (PGI), a souvenir photography company providing ground-breaking capture technologies, and parent company Cherry Hill Programs (CHP) have announced that they have raised $150K for one of their charitable partners, Autism Speaks.

PGI and CHP launched their new year-round campaign, Magic of Giving, in 2021. In line with their core values and their belief in the importance of cultivating the magic of generosity and giving back, they chose to raise funds for three charities last year: Autism Speaks, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Humane Society of the United States.

“I am so incredibly proud of the work and dedication from each and every person involved in the Magic of Giving Campaign this past year,” says John Barbieri, chief strategy officer of CHP and PGI. “It is projects and causes like these, collaborating with incredible people and organizations, which make me honored to be a part of the Cherry Hill Programs and Photogenic family.”

Sensory friendly holiday events

The festive season can be overwhelming, especially for some people on the autism spectrum, which is why Cherry Hill Programs worked with Autism Speaks to provide Sensory Friendly Events. These holiday season events included limits on numbers to reduce crowding, lower music levels or no music at all, and comfortable lighting. The company also asked for donations to support Autism Speaks at the venues, and on the CHP website.

“We are incredibly grateful to have the ongoing support of Cherry Hill Programs. By offering sensory-friendly experiences that allow everyone to enjoy holiday traditions, we are able to further our mission of creating a kinder, more inclusive world for all people with autism,” says Jennifer Schell Podoll, Autism Speaks senior vice president of constituent engagement.

“With CHP’s generous support, Autism Speaks can make a meaningful impact by providing solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.”

CHP and PGI also supported the Humane Society of the United States and St Jude Children’s Research Hospital during the festive season for 2021 and will work to expand the reach of those programs this year.

“The Humane Society of the United States is thrilled to participate in such a fun holiday event that brings pets and the people who love them together,” says Kristie Tanner, director of business partnerships for the Humane Society of the United States. “Thank you to Cherry Hill Programs for supporting our lifesaving work for animals around the world through these memorable Pet Night events.”

Photogenic, CHP’s souvenir division, raises funds and awareness for chosen partners at museums, zoos, and aquariums across the US, helping to fund these organisations’ missions and exemplifying the company’s motto of “We Win Together”! Over the course of this year, PGI will continue with its current charitable partners as well as working to expand efforts with new partners.

Last year, Photogenic announced the release of its upgraded Instant Mobile Sales Platform, including updates to the popular ePostcard Digital Video Product.
