The company’s technology made the photography experience fun and easy, boosting revenue for the operator

Capturelife, the digital delivery and engagement solution, partnered with Enchant Christmas in 2021, allowing the operator to bring visitors’ memories to life. The festive attraction, which describes itself as “the world’s most magical Christmas experience”, took place in four major US cities last year, transforming locations like Washington, D.C.’s Nationals Stadium into a winter wonderland.

Guests could explore a magical light maze, browse a Christmas Market, skate along an ice-skating trail and pay a visit to Santa, as well as enjoying magical photo experiences.

Enchant Christmas chose to work with Capturelife as it had a clear vision for its re-imagined photo experience, as Greg Senko, producer for Enchant explains:

“Our goal is to create and memorialize memories in a way that enhances the overall experience for our guests.”

The photography experience needed to be seamlessly blended into the guests’ visit. To achieve this, Capturelife integrated with Enchant’s ticketing system, meaning that photographers could use the company’s camera management technology to link visitors’ photos to their Enchant Christmas account, simply by scanning their entry ticket.

As a result, guests’ photographs were available to browse almost instantly through their account, either on their phone or through the venue’s Capturelife kiosks.

At Enchant’s Washington, D.C. location, visitors could also take advantage of the Enchant Christmas Photo Pass, meaning they were then entitled to all the photos taken during their visit, including photos with Santa.

This new approach boosted sales significantly. For instance, at Enchant Christmas in Las Vegas, the combination of on-site sales with the Capturelife kiosks, and mobile sales after the event, drove a 78% purchase rate. Across the four venues, 56% of visitors that made a purchase chose to buy all their photos, therefore driving up the average order value.

In addition to this, Capturelife’s post-event marketing campaigns also increased sales, adding 10% more revenue in the weeks after the event finished.

Chris Nobels, director of productions for Enchant Christmas, is looking forward to building on this success next Chrismas:

“We are proud of the photography experience that the team created for our guests this season. We are already working with Capturelife to take that experience to a whole new level in 2022.”

Last year, Capturelife announced the launch of new technologies: Capturelife Connections, Capturelife Kiosk and an International Print Store. Together, these products and services are transforming the photography experience for both guests and operators.
