Photogenic releases groundbreaking photo technology for summer 2021

New tech will improve guest experience, generate brand awareness and increase revenue

Photogenic Inc., a souvenir photography company providing ground-breaking capture technologies, has announced the release of its upgraded Instant Mobile Sales Platform, including updates to the popular ePostcard Digital Video Product. This follows Photogenic’s acquisition by Cherry Hill Programs in 2018, which led to the increased capacity and technology power needed to bring the company’s operations to the next level.

Photogenic is an industry leader in experiential photography in North America; dedicated to developing and executing quality photography solutions. These are used to capture millions of travel experiences and memorable moments at tourism venues across the region.

Instant mobile sales

The company’s Instant Mobile Sales Platform puts the purchasing power of images in every visitor’s hand, straightaway. Now, with the new updates to the system, the guest and partner functionality have been expanded.

Partners can access their own Partner Portal, where they will find a remote dashboard that brings them detailed reports, drip campaign management and real-time analytics such as sales, conversion rates and engagement. This means that they can monitor the performance of campaigns and make adjustments when needed.

From a visitor point of view, the guest journey has been streamlined, with fast QR access to their images, alongside mobile creation and retrieval of Photogenic’s ePostcard product. The newest version of this product launched earlier this year at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum and allows guests to instantly create a video postcard.

This viral video is great for both guests and partners, as it provides an immediate, emotional connection between the partner, their visitors and their social community.

Enhancing the guest experience

John Barbieri, Chief Strategy Officer of Photogenic and Cherry Hill Programs, says:

“It has been incredible to see the evolution of ePostcard from a site fulfilment product to instant Guest gratification! I was not surprised about how much it enhanced the Guest experience or how powerful of a marketing tool this would become but was pleasantly surprised to see a consistent increase in conversion rates and per caps.

“It really is the perfect addition to an onsite retail photography program.”

Steve Craig, CEO of Photogenic and Cherry Hill Programs adds: “While our core focus will always be service, a major investment during the past year has been creating the perfect technologies to enhance the Guest and Partner experience while protecting and growing revenues.

“Between the additions of subtraction technology, our My Photo Platform, new eCommerce sites, Partner Portal and ePostcard, it is easy to see why we have experienced such tremendous growth over the past year.”

Earlier this year, Photogenic and Cherry Hill Programs took the time to reflect on how they have adapted to the challenges presented by COVID-19.
