Gateway Ticketing Systems appoints new managing director

News
Gateway Ticketing Systems Joe Marshall

The Galaxy solution provider has worked with clients for more than 30 years

Gateway Ticketing Systems, a leading provider of admission control systems, has announced the promotion of Joe Marshall to managing director, where he will be in charge of the group as they develop and broaden their presence in the attractions sector.

As a Project Manager who joined Gateway in 2017, Marshall rapidly made a name for himself by committing to providing quality solutions to both new and existing clients in the UK and Europe. He has been the general manager of Gateway Ticketing Systems UK Limited since April 2021.

Marshall has assumed control of the UK office, where he has started cultivating new connections and bringing new life to the company’s activities. Under his leadership, the UK office and team have advanced significantly over the past 16 months with the company reporting its recent success is largely attributable to his understanding of the market and effective client relationship management.

The executive has spent three decades in leadership and technology, including 4 years as Zonal Retail Data Systems’ head of projects and 13 years as Omnico Group’s solution delivery manager. Marshall managed teams, projects, and budgets in both positions.

Outside of work, Marshall also enjoys skiing, road and mountain biking, sailing, and acts as treasurer of his neighbourhood tennis club.

“Continued success”

“Joe has continued to demonstrate a strong passion for the industry and especially his relationships with our customers and his team,” says Gateway Ticketing Systems president and CEO Michael Andre.

“Naming Joe as our managing director in the UK underlines our commitment and enthusiasm for the region. We are excited to see the continued success he will no doubt bring to this new role.”

Earlier this year Gateway Ticketing Systems celebrated its success at an awards ceremony organised by the Northeast Entertainment Association (NEAAPA), where senior marketing manager Greg Banecker was presented with a Paragon Award.
