News
Guy Lubin Framestore

Creative team at the visual effects firm continues to expand

Framestore, the visual effects specialist, has welcomed Guy Lubin to the team. With more than a decade of industry experience, Lubin takes on the role of VFX supervisor, moving from his previous role at The Mill, where he worked on a number of successful projects including the award-winning ‘Open Spaces’ for Burberry. He has also held positions at MPC Advertising, Nexus and The Line Animation.

Lubin has worked on campaigns for big names like Apple, Moncler, EE, Marks & Spencer, BT and Balenciaga, and has collaborated with notable directors including Dom&Nic, The Sacred Egg, James Grey, and Amber Grace-Jones.

Becoming part of a talented team

Speaking about the new appointment, Framestore’s executive creative director, William Bartlett, says:

“I’m really excited to welcome Guy to Framestore. He has a top-quality body of work behind him, having worked with some of the industry’s finest Directors and Creatives. And aside from his outstanding work, Guy is also a lovely bloke who is going to fit in perfectly with our expanding team.”

Lubin adds: “I am thrilled to be joining Framestore, a place with an incredible history, responsible for some of the best projects out there. As part of this talented team, I can’t wait to create some visual magic!”

Framestore recently completed work on a major new exhibition for London’s Science Museum, celebrating the environments and storytelling of sci-fi adventures. The Science Fiction: Voyage to the Edge of Imagination exhibition puts visitors in the centre of an interactive science fiction tale and is packed with artefacts and experiences that explore how scientists and science fiction writers have been inspired by one another through creativity and innovation.

Earlier this year, the company also completed work on the launch spot production for Paramount+, one of the latest major streaming services to debut in the UK market.
