Paradise Pier cost more than $100m and was more than five years in the making, Andrew ‘FoFo’ Gilich, Biloxi’s mayor, told WVUE Fox 8. He described the new park as “an attraction like no other”.

“We do have a lot of loyal Louisiana folks that enjoy all kinds of summers, spring breaks with us every year,” said Tessy Lambert, the chief marketing officer at Lodging & Leisure Investments, which operates Margaritaville Resort Biloxi.

“We’re really excited to welcome everybody down to see our newest addition,” she added.

Margaritaville Resort Biloxi also features a 55,000-square-foot family entertainment center (FEC) called Escape, as well as a water playground with a lazy river, waterslides and a swim-up bar.

Elsewhere, Six Flags has announced a host of new coasters, rides, water attractions, and experiences and events for the 2023 season.
