Event Network partners with retail data analytics company TruRating

News
TruRating Phoenix Zoo

Event Network, a leading retail operator for experiential cultural attractions in North America, has announced a new partnership with TruRating, a retail data analytics company.

Known for optimising revenue through its singular focus on best-in-class retail and award-winning store environments, Event Network also brings a world-class guest service program to the 100+ partnerships within its portfolio. The TruRating platform is a new, innovative resource that is providing feedback from guests in the form of actionable data to elevate Event Network’s guest service.

Scoring the retail experience in cultural attractions

TruRating, a three-time award-winning company, integrates its survey platform with point-of-sale software to gather customer feedback. One question is posed to visitors (out of 7 rotating questions). The procedure is made to gather a single, “in-the-moment” evaluation in a matter of seconds. To identify staffing and coaching opportunities, responses are examined across time periods and stores and then connected with various data sources.

The resulting data from these questions is used to calculate a Net Promotor Score (NPS). An NPS is a rating that is frequently used in the retail sector but has never been applied to a retail setting for a cultural attraction. This data point is obtained by taking the number of guests who are advocates for your service and subtracting those that did not have a positive experience.

According to preliminary findings, Event Network’s NPS scores are much better than the norm for the retail sector. Event Network now has more options to integrate its retail operation into the renowned attractions that it works with thanks to TruRating, which offers a deeper understanding of the retail experience at cultural attractions.

Earlier this year, Event Network announced a new partnership with Clearwater Marine Aquarium (CMA) in Clearwater, Florida. The firm will showcase an expanded assortment of merchandise that highlights the work of the Aquarium and the amazing animals who live at CMA.
