Lagotronics Projects, the media-based attractions specialist, has announced that there are now three levels of theming and storytelling available for the Battle Arena.
Every level’s goal is the same: score as many points as you can by striking objects hidden in the background or on nearby gondolas. This is happening as the gondolas rise and fall at predetermined but erratic intervals. Visitors can also rotate their gondolas using a joystick in order to see all targets and adversaries.
Battle element enhanced with point stealing
Players can now play as a team and take points from their rivals by striking targets on their gondolas. This new aspect makes the game much more entertaining and transforms the experience into a true battle. This competition can be played by individual visitors and individual gondolas, but also with multiple gondolas in one team.
All of the points that players have accumulated are tracked via the integrated score system. Players can easily check and compare their scores after the ride.
New theming and storytelling
Every client can customise their own unique scenery, storyline and content (audio/video) on the Battle Arena ride. Themeing can be used sparingly or in great detail, along with thorough storytelling, to provide the journey.
There are three different levels. The Basic Package features minimal storytelling, with a focus on the interactive battle and point collecting. Guests get feedback when they hit standard LED targets. Meanwhile, the Themed Package includes a themed ride and ride vehicles and an engaging storyline is added to draw visitors in. Here, targets are objects hidden within the scenery and SFX are also integrated into the surroundings. These are activated when certain targets are hit.
Finally, the most comprehensive offer is the Dark Ride Package, which includes interactive scenery, interactive video screens and advanced special effects, in order to create a unique dark ride experience for indoor locations.
The Battle Arena is offered as standard with an interactive system (24 shooters), powerful audio installation, show lighting, score monitor, and a large LED Wall. Animatronics, scenery, and special effects (SFX), including water effects, smoke, light, and sound effects, can all be added to any package.
Operators can also choose to add an interactive queue experience, with shooters placed in the queue area allowing guests to shoot the targets and gondolas while they wait. This makes the queue more engaging and enables visitors to practice their shooting before the ride begins.
Last year, Lagotronics Projects delivered interactive attractions, functional and decorative lighting, show control and audio and video content for The WOW FEC in Lusail, Qatar.
