Valo Motion, a pioneer in combining interactive technology with physical activities, has announced that RPM Raceway, a popular New York-based FEC chain, has chosen to add a second ValoArena to its offering. This has been added at its Stamford, Connecticut venue after the first installation at its Farmingdale, New York location proved to be very successful.

With five locations on the East Coast, RPM Raceway has been in operation for more than ten years. The company’s motto, “RACE. PLAY. MORE,” embodies its commitment to providing clients with a wide selection of attractions.
“A no-brainer”
The innovative technology and unattended design of ValoArena initially attracted Eyal Farage, owner of RPM. After operations manager Chris Kimlingen conducted in-depth research and consultation with Valo Motion’s Sales team to make sure the new attraction would be a beneficial addition to the FEC, RPM’s Long Island location became the first US location to install ValoArena.
After only four months, ValoArena surpassed several top arcade games as well as other VR experiences to become RPM Raceway’s most popular attraction. Because of this, RPM Raceway made the decision to buy a second ValoArena at the IAAPA Expo in November.
“What’s so impressive about ValoArena is that it generates more than enough revenue to substantiate its large footprint,” said Kimlingen. “The numbers don’t lie, investing in a second ValoArena was really a no-brainer.”
The six-player, unattended ValoArena offers engaging social gameplay, high throughput, and good ROI possibilities without the use of wearables, wires, or controllers. The attraction caters to a wide audience by seamlessly fusing physical and digital experiences and includes five different games to drive engagement and return visits. ValoArena makes a good investment for FECs looking to maximise revenue and give guests a fun, physically active experience.
Recently, Valo Motion opened ValoHalli, an interactive arcade at its Helsinki premises. This allows visitors to play on all three of Valo Motion’s mixed-reality gaming platforms.
