Tessitura Double Eagle Consulting

Collaboration will provide cybersecurity planning and information technology strategy to Tessitura clients

Tessitura, a nonprofit technology company dedicated to helping arts and cultural organisations thrive, has announced a new collaboration with Double Eagle Consulting in New Jersey.

Tessitura’s service will be enhanced with knowledge and cutting-edge tools in cybersecurity planning and information technology strategy. These resources are available to the firm’s North American arts and culture organisations.

Double Eagle offers a broad range of consulting services, from complete IT assessments, to evaluating design and preparing for infrastructure improvements, and cybersecurity risk management. The firm’s consultants and engineers have expertise in current market trends and insights. It also provides interim or part-time staffing to assist firms during CIO changes or with IT management outsourcing.

Cybersecurity and infrastructure expertise

Erin Lively Koppel, chief strategy officer at Tessitura, says: “In addition to their proficiency in cybersecurity best practices and optimal setup for IT infrastructure, the team at Double Eagle Consulting is deeply familiar with Tessitura. They understand not only the way organizations use Tessitura but also how to optimize infrastructure performance for our platform.

“Having Tessitura experience plus cybersecurity and infrastructure expertise in one consulting practice is rare. It offers tremendous value to our members with complex IT challenges or the need to supplement their teams.”

Double Eagle Consulting’s partners offer clients over 35 years of C-suite and nonprofit cultural experience. Terri-Ann Feindt, the company’s founder and CEO, was the chief information officer at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center for a decade. She also led the New York Philharmonic’s information technology initiatives for seven years.

Robert S. Tarleton, chief innovation officer, previously served as chief technology officer at Lincoln Center for 14 years. Both share Tessitura’s mission of removing barriers to nonprofit success.

Feindt comments: “We know the challenges arts and culture teams face, especially constraints around human and financial resources. We specialize in cost optimization and reduction, scalability and workforce strategy development. Our cloud-first methodology reduces risk and increases productivity. At the end of the day, our goal is to help the organizations we work with lead in the market of tomorrow.”

Double Eagle Consulting works with finance, education and non-profit organisations. Its client list includes a number of Tessitura users, including theatres, science centres, performing arts centres, dance companies and symphonies.

Tessitura has also recently partnered with Activity Stream to offer marketing, engagement, and planning functionality to their shared clients. The CRM and transaction system from Tessitura has been combined with three tools from Activity Stream; the Activity Stream platform, Yesplan and crowdEngage, to create a comprehensive range of tools for live events.
