Guardian Media & Entertainment (GME), a leading company that creates innovative attractions and theme parks, has announced that in the space of just 12 months, it completed three ambitious immersive attractions at the upcoming Jollywood film-based theme park in Bangalore, India.
Jollywood is a new family destination with a cinematic family universe theme, operated by VELS Group from Chennai. GME was tasked with creating attractions with engaging movie themes.
Dinosaurs, Titanic and more
The first attraction from GME is a dinosaur-themed ride, where guests can venture into the jungle and encounter a dino attack. There is also a dinosaur museum connected to the ride, which showcases dinosaur information in a variety of interactive formats.
A key highlight among the rides created by GME is The Titanic Experience, where visitors meet the ghost of the ship’s captain, Edward Smith.
The theming showcases key areas from the ship, referencing the iconic film, including the first class areas and other classes, as well as the boiler room, the deck, the grand ballroom and the bridge. Everything is brought together with spectacular special effects and theming to give guests the feeling of a first-hand experience of visiting the Titanic.
Finally, GME also created Twilight Dreams, a grand mapping show combined with fountains and lasers. This is the first show of its kind to be on offer in India.
The Guardian Media & Entertainment team includes a mix of skilled artists and engineers and is the only company in India which manufactures all types of show control equipment necessary for the creation of attractions and shows. The firm says it is looking forward to continuing this partnership with the VELS Group and will create more attractions based on Indian cinemas. GME plans to create its own content in movie production and IP for Jollywood.
Earlier this year, Guardian Media & Entertainment delivered a historical experience centre based on the life and times of the great Indian ruler Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
