The Shipping Monster, a provider of logistics and transportation to touring exhibitions, attractions and the entertainment industry, has expanded with two new offices opening in the Middle East.
The logistics company now has a sales office for the UAE in the prestigious DFAZ Freezone in Dubai, which is situated close to the international airport.
The new dedicated office for Riyadh can be found at Riyadh Front, a world-class destination which combines a vibrant business hub business and extensive leisure facilities at King Khaled International Airport.
Robert Aspinall, CEO of The Shipping Monster, says: “After personally spending time in the Middle East this year, we are excited and encouraged by the opportunities and relationships that we’ve built. While we’ve been operational for a while now, it’s exciting that the growth in the region has necessitated the opening of dedicated sales offices, starting with Dubai and Riyadh. We plan to expand into every GCC country within the next five years.”
The expansion will enable The Shipping Monster to better serve its customers in the Middle East. Appointments can be made by emailing uae@theshippingmonster.com for the Dubai office, and ksa@theshippingmonster.com for the Riyadh office.
Transportation specialists
The Shipping Monster has built an impressive portfolio. It recently moved a much-loved train ride from the Greater Vancouver Zoo to the Western Train Co. in Temecula, California. This meant that a new Hydrostatic Diesel drive system could be added, as well as a fresh coat of paint. In this project, the company organised the border crossing, exported the ride from Canada to the US, and also used specialist equipment, a Roll Tite, to move the refurbished train.
Earlier this year, the firm was also responsible for transporting eight sections of the Berlin Wall following an exhibition in Los Angeles. The Shipping Monster removed the 8-foot-high structures and securely transported them to a Storage Monster location.
