KCC Entertainment Design, a leading creator of themed environments, worked on the development, design and build of an innovative new destination in Jaux, near Paris, France. Experimental Park held a grand opening ceremony on 19 October 2023, following a two-month soft-opening period. More than 200 visitors attended the event to celebrate the new attraction.

Experimental Park is a new immersive concept. Players, working individually or in groups, are challenged to collect energy in order to restart the time machine, which has stranded them between space and time.

Stéphane Fontaine, the owner of Experimental Park Jaux, and the local mayor talked about their enthusiasm for this unique project. Fontaine also revealed that this location will be the first of many for the franchise brand, with the next venues planned for Lille, Vannes and Laval, set to open in early 2024.

An immersive experience

Following an engaging and automated briefing, the players begin their 1, 1.5, or 2-hour game. The players gather energy by going through many challenge rooms, each having its own theme and vibe. The players’ efforts are evaluated at the conclusion of the game to determine whether or not they met the energy target.

Experimental Park provides a novel experience for both B2B and B2C, with a target audience of 8 years old and up, the option to play in teams of two to five people, varying levels of complexity in each area, individual score, and a strong immersion into the plot.

Experimental Park Jaux’s unique, state-of-the-art digital layer, which automates all the games and only needs one operator, provides guests with an unmatched level of immersion. This cutting-edge attraction tests creativity, teamwork, logic, and competence with 27 different tasks in one place.

Yannick Maes, CEO of KCC, says: “At KCC, we’ve always strived to push the boundaries of imagination and innovation. We challenge the status quo. Experimental Park represents the culmination of the dreams of Mr. Fontaine and the KCC team. It’s not just a place to challenge your intellect and skills; it’s a testament to the power of technology and human creativity coming together. We believe it will inspire people to explore their potential and create lasting memories.”
