Day Out With The Kids 100-day £1 VIP Pass

92% of DOWTK survey respondents say families’ experiences with days out were affected by the cost of living crisis

Day Out With The Kids, a leading ‘things to do’ and days out platform based in the UK, has launched a 100-day VIP Pass membership trial costing £1 for Black Friday.

The extended VIP Pass membership is available to new customers who join between 20 and 30 November, including Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This offer is the longest-ever £1 VIP Pass trial period to be made available by the platform.

Family days out affected by cost of living crisis

The VIP Pass provides members with savings such as 2-for-1 deals and ‘Kids Go Free,’ in addition to exclusive money-off discounts and contests. On average, families can save £350 per year by taking advantage of the thousands of best-in-market member offers available.

According to a recent survey of DOWTK’s community, an overwhelming 92% of respondents have had their families’ experiences with days out affected by the cost of living crisis. This is despite some more positive news for families in recent weeks, such as the Bank of England keeping UK interest rates at 5.25% for the second time in a row and inflation falling to 4.6%.

With the impact on people’s pockets expected to last into next year, 75% of those surveyed stated that price and offers or discounts were the key considerations when planning days out and things to do, with 80% bringing their own food to help save money.

James Morgan, CEO at DOWTK, says: “We believe that every family should have the chance to create special memories together without worrying about price. We work hard to ensure that our VIP Pass is packed full of exclusive offers and discounts whatever the season, so that the price of days out is cut, not your family’s adventures.

“As we head into 2024 we know that people will still be watching every penny and Day Out With The Kids will be there to keep saving our members money.”

New customers who join up between 20 and 30 November through the Day Out With The Kids website will gain access to membership discounts for a 100-day trial period, provided their account remains active. They will begin a standard subscription of £3.99 per month at the close of the trial period, which may be cancelled at any time.

Earlier this year, Day Out With The Kids announced a new collaboration with AttractionTickets.com, a highly-regarded provider of tickets to leading attractions worldwide. Together, the two organisations will be able to deliver unprecedented access to the world’s leading experiences, creating unforgettable moments for families.
