Retlaw Enterprises, a provider of expert experiential design, development and management services, together with Ed Rodriguez, a former Disney artist, has revealed a new collaboration with Mousetrappe Media for the technical design and show development of Kiki Koki themed attractions.
This partnership represents a major leap forward in bringing the immersive universe of Kiki Koki to life for audiences worldwide.
Immersive storytelling
With its reputation for innovative show design and cutting-edge technical expertise, Mousetrappe Media is well-positioned to enhance the immersive Kiki Koki attractions for visitors of any age.
Tony Miceli, president of Mousetrappe Media, describes the collaboration as “a thrilling convergence of expertise in immersive storytelling and technology” that will capture the spirit of Puerto Rico’s vibrant culture. The project aims to create memorable experiences for families and children, and is “a significant milestone for Mousetrappe Media and its partners”, says Miceli.
Eddie Newquist, creative executive at Retlaw Enterprises, comments: “Partnering with Mousetrappe Media allows us to push the boundaries of immersive technology, ensuring that Kiki Koki attractions deliver unparalleled entertainment and educational value.”
Robin Stapley, creative executive at Retlaw Enterprises, adds: “Together, we are committed to creating an experience that honors the rich cultural heritage of Puerto Rico and captivates audiences of all ages.”
Lessons from legends
IdeaRworks Studios, directed by former Disney artist Ed Rodriguez, plans to create immersive experiences based on his illustrated Kiki Koki books. Drawing inspiration from the Coquí Frog and Taino Indian legend, Kiki Koki imparts insightful yet lighthearted lessons about identity and community. This book collection is a rich resource for young Puerto Ricans, parents, educators, and visitors alike.
The announcement of the partnership with Mousetrappe Media coincides with the release of the third book, Kiki Koki: The Legend of the Borikén Rainforest, which launches this month at Aliadas Pharmacies in Puerto Rico.
The first Kiki Koki attraction will be in Puerto Rico, and the team is now researching venues and collaborations. They have a proven history of producing award-winning experiences, and with this project aim to create a new standard for immersive storytelling that will captivate, educate, and inspire audiences worldwide.
Last year, Retlaw Enterprises announced a new partnership with Rovar to offer innovative experiential AR applications to the event, museum, mall, theme park, and tourism sectors.
