Meet the hosts

Mark Lofthouse
Mark Lofthouse

Mark Lofthouse is a seasoned creative director in the themed attraction and location-based entertainment industry. With 17 years of experience, he has collaborated with theme parks, leisure facilities, and heritage venues to design engaging and interactive experiences for the whole family.

His expertise lies in creating captivating environments that enhance visitor enjoyment and immersion.

“I am incredibly excited to join Adam in this new podcast in partnership with blooloop,” says Lofthouse.

“I firmly believe in sharing and discussing our work to inspire both the current and next generation of creators in the industry. This podcast aims to introduce hot topics and newsworthy updates to both new and seasoned professionals in the themed attraction field.”

Adam Sandy

Adam Sandy has been in the attractions industry for over twenty years. After leaving university in 2001, he worked for Amusement Business magazine selling advertising. In 2004, he moved on to Ride Entertainment, where he became an owner and helped grow the business.

He is currently roller coaster sales and marketing director for Zamperla.

“The Theme Park Academy podcast is a reflection of how Mark and I approach the attractions industry,” says Sandy.

“We love to learn about many different facets of the business. Our conversations with experts from many different fields will allow our audience to grow in conjunction with us. We are excited to work with blooloop to provide this unique podcast.”
