Construction has started on Hershey Inn & Suites

Hersheypark has announced plans to expand its accommodation offering with a new hotel called Hershey Inn & Suites, opening in spring 2026.

Construction has started on Hersheypark’s first limited-service hotel, which will feature 130 rooms with seven suites, as well as an indoor pool.

The new four-storey venue is located in the West End mixed-use development in Derry Township, Pennsylvania.

“Hershey Inn & Suites will provide our guests with even more diverse lodging options when they visit ‘the sweetest place on Earth,” said Jason Heath, vice president of resort operations.

“This new select service hotel with unique amenities to Hersheypark will continue to expand the resort offerings you can only enjoy in Hershey as we continue to grow our destination.”

Hershey Inn & Suites will join other Hersheypark hotels, including the Hotel Hershey for luxury accommodation, as well as the Hershey Lodge and Hersheypark Camping Resort.

With its next hotel, Hersheypark’s expansion continues. The resort is also building nine new villas at the Hotel Hershey. These will open in autumn 2025.

Guests at Hersheypark properties receive additional morning and evening hours at the park, as well as discounts on tickets.

Hersheypark is a 121-acre theme park offering more than 70 rides, from thrilling coasters to classic family rides, as well as a water park and a zoo.

The $150m Hershey’s Chocolatetown expansion opened at Hersheypark in 2020. The 23-acre land marked the largest investment in Hershey’s history. It is home to Candymonium, the tallest, fastest and longest coaster at Hersheypark.
