blooloop has been certified as a B Corp.

blooloop director Rachel Read says, “We’re delighted to announce our B Corp certification. This builds on our work over the last 5 years to become more sustainable, and underlines a wider ongoing commitment towards operating the business as a force for good. In 2021 we created greenloop, the first conference for sustainability in visitor attractions, and we have also developed initiatives like our email footer campaign, which through collective impact has saved 129tCO2e to date.”
“We still have a long way to go, but we’re looking forward to drawing inspiration from the B Corp framework and community to help us evolve.”
Ruth Read, blooloop’s sustainability manager says, “attendees at greenloop will be aware that over the years blooloop has explored different sustainability certifications. The B Corp certification assessment has been challenging but very interesting, as it encourages an holistic review of our business and stakeholders.
“We’re more than happy to share our experience with anyone who is interested in going through the process, so please do get in touch if you want to know more.”

B Corp verification
The B Corp verification process administered by the nonprofit, B Lab, measures a company’s social and environmental performance.
To become a Certified B Corporation, companies undergo a rigorous review of the impact of their operations and business model on their workers, customers, communities and environment, and must meet a minimum verified score on the B Impact Assessment.
