Alterface, a leader in interactive technology, has launched Action League Popcorn Revenge at Suzhou Paradise Forest World, marking the first Action League attraction in China.
The unique tournament-style attraction brings together ultra-dynamic multi-axis rotation and competitive gameplay to provide a new interactive entertainment offering for family entertainment centres (FECs) and location-based entertainment (LBE).
China debut for Popcorn Revenge IP
Action League, winner of the 2021 IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best New Product Concept, features an innovative, multi-round interactive experience. Players take part in a series of challenges, which feel unique with every round as the dynamic rotation system shuffles the teams.
The Popcorn Revenge Compact Edition has been created to meet the needs of LBE venues. This made it an ideal fit for Candy World, Suzhou Paradise Forest World’s three-floor indoor entertainment zone.
The attraction is space-efficient and cost-effective, while offering high levels of interactivity. Additionally, the Popcorn Revenge Compact Edition has a throughput of 240-360 visitors per hour within its 200 square metre footprint.
Alterface’s much-loved and mischievous IP, Popcorn Revenge, is popular across Europe and Japan, and makes its debut in China with this installation. The IPs combination of humour, action, and friendly competition makes it suitable for players of all ages.
At Candy World, Action League Popcorn Revenge attracts players with a semi-open layout and customised theming. This incorporates bold pink tones and eye-catching details that integrate the attraction into the colourful Candy World aesthetic.
