SkyLake to combine serene settings and high-thrill attractions

SkyLake, a nature-based theme park in Indiana, has been given the green light. Construction is scheduled to begin this summer.

Sheridan Town Council has granted final approval to developer Monarch Ventures, a division of Indiana-based real estate development firm Circle Property Group.

The destination will be built on a 126-acre site in Sheridan. It will be an adventure park offering a nature-based experience.

New park set to open next year

Per a press release, SkyLake will combine serene settings, accessible adventures, and high-thrill attractions.

“Our driving vision is crafting unforgettable, authentic experiences that reconnect people with nature and one another,” said Phil Sack, president of Circle Property Group.

“SkyLake fulfils our mission to create adventure destinations that promote wellbeing and foster connection, helping families and friends make lifelong memories.

“We are committed to being a cornerstone for the community through strong partnership and responsible stewardship, embracing sustainability in our environmental and business practices.”

Highlights in the first phase of SkyLake include a six-acre natural lake surrounded by white sand beaches, as well as a 40,000-square-foot hub for F&B and events.

Aquatic attractions in the plans include a 40-foot slide and jump structure, a 300-foot floating obstacle course, and a 6,000-square-foot zero-depth splash pad.

On land, guests will enjoy a 500-foot-long tubing hill called the Sky Slide, an adventure zone, a three-storey ropes course, and the SkyLinks mini-golf experience.

SkyLake is projected to boost the region’s economy, creating hundreds of construction jobs over the next year and employing up to 300 workers when open.

Wellbeing and sustainability at SkyLake

The park is expected to attract around 500,000 visitors every year.

Now that planning approval has been secured, Monarch Ventures aims to break ground on the new park in June of this year.

SkyLake is scheduled to open in summer 2026, with additional attractions to be added in the future.
