Smeetz, a provider of smart all-in-one ticketing software for leisure and cultural attractions, is powering the new Museum of Illusions Malta in collaboration with Mercury Towers, an iconic destination designed by Zaha Hadid Architects.

This is the first Smeetz-powered attraction in the country and marks the latest addition to the Museum of Illusions’ swiftly expanding worldwide network.

The Museum of Illusions has established a reputation for immersive, educational, and mind-bending experiences and is one of the fastest-growing visual and sensory attraction chains. Visitors throughout Europe and beyond are engaged by its distinctive mix of entertainment and optical science.

Smeetz already powers numerous Museum of Illusions locations across Europe, and its expansion into Malta represents a significant milestone in the software company’s growth in a new region.

Nick Fenton, sales director at Smeetz, says: “We’re incredibly excited to support the Mercury Towers team as they launch this fantastic new Museum of Illusions attraction. It’s a growing brand that fits perfectly with our own trajectory and mission to power engaging, data-driven experiences. This also marks our first launch in Malta, opening the door to more exciting opportunities – with more launching soon.”

The collaboration supports Smeetz’s expanding presence in the attractions and cultural venues industry, where its innovative solutions for dynamic pricing, unified sales, and customer engagement help venues optimise income and increase operational efficiency.

Christian Fenech, operations manager at Mercury Towers, says: “The Smeetz platform is both powerful and user-friendly, providing a seamless experience in managing ticketing, reservations, and customer engagement. Their innovative approach to unified commerce in the leisure and cultural industries has proven to be a true asset to our operations.

“Moreover, the customer support team at Smeetz deserves special recognition for their responsiveness and willingness to go above and beyond. Every interaction has been handled with care, courtesy, and a genuine interest in resolving queries promptly and effectively.

“It is rare to find a partner who combines cutting-edge technology with a deeply human touch, and Smeetz consistently delivers on both fronts. Thank you once again for your commitment and excellence—we look forward to continuing this fruitful partnership.”

Last month, Smeetz announced that it has extended its continuing partnership with The Crocky Trail, an adventure park in Chester, UK. The Crocky Trail and Smeetz have been working together for more than four years, and The Crocky Trail was one of the first clients to sign with Smeetz following the company’s UK launch.
