Dronisos Dollywood 40th Anniversary

Dronisos, a leading drone light show specialist, is continuing its partnership with Dollywood for a fourth consecutive year with a drone show to mark the attraction’s 40th anniversary.

Taking place throughout the summer as part of the Smoky Mountain Summer Celebration, the show is set to be Dollywood’s most spectacular to date. A brand-new story will unfold in the sky with more drones, and in a park first, will include drones enhanced with pyrotechnics.

Shared commitment to delivering magical moments

Dronisos has been Dollywood’s official drone technology provider since 2022, managing every aspect of the park’s drone shows. This remit spans from creative development and technical production to on-site logistics and nightly operations, with a dedicated team that runs the shows from a permanent facility within the park and guarantees the highest level of safety and a flawless performance every night.

The collaboration is strengthened with each passing year, building on the two organisations’ shared mission to create memorable moments for Dollywood’s visitors.

Cyndi Mc Cormack, vice president of guest experience at Dollywood, says: “This summer, get ready for a spectacular 40th anniversary drone show, featuring even more drones and, for the very first time at Dollywood, pyro-drones lighting up the sky! You won’t want to miss it, it’s the perfect time to visit!”

Showings will take place just after sunset, each night from 14 June to 3 August. Through state-of-the-art technology and compelling narratives, Dollywood and Dronisos once again demonstrate their dedication to providing audiences of all ages with amazing experiences.

The 3rd United Nations Ocean Conference is currently taking place in Nice, France, and aims to bring together heads of state and government to forge a historic agreement for ocean protection.

To mark the occasion, Christian Estrosi, mayor of Nice, president of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, and deputy president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, presented a spectacular drone show from Dronisos. This was the largest ever seen in Europe.
