‘Breathing Planet’ debuts in the Immersive Horizon space

Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim, a thermal bath and spa complex in Germany, has opened a new immersive wellness experience that focuses on breathing to reduce stress.

‘Breathing Planet’ in the Immersive Horizon space follows the successful launch of ‘Forest Bathing Lupuna’ in the Immersive Sky room at Germany’s Therme Euskirchen.

The new attraction by Thermengruppe Josef Wund, a strategic partner of Therme Group, comes as immersive wellness experiences rise as a new remedy across the world.

Breathing Planet is an innovative spa space combining immersive visuals and art, sounds created to calm and guide guests’ breathing, and natural scents to provide a multi-sensory experience.

It is described by Thermengruppe Josef Wund as a place where guests can slow down and enjoy “a deep sense of inner peace and balance”.

New forms of wellbeing

“The Immersive Horizon should not only contribute to physical relaxation but also promote mental clarity and emotional balance,” the company added.

The 10-minute experience can accommodate up to six people at any time, and is included with tickets to Thermen & Badewelt Sinsheim.

The space was designed by atelier 522, with interior projections by Marshmallow Laser Feast.

Over at Therme Euskirchen, Forest Bathing Lupuna merges sound, scent, water, movement and imagery as guests discover the story of the Lupuna tree, found in various parts of the Amazon rainforest.

Both new concepts show how Therme Group and Thermengruppe Josef Wund continue to pioneer new forms of wellbeing for their guests.

The wellness economy is projected to soar from $5.6 trillion to $8.5tn by 2027 as guests look for new ways to relax and take care of themselves.
