Its newest partner, Istanbul Aquarium, will host the event

Immotion, a global leader in immersive edutainment, will be participating in the European Union of Aquarium Curators (EUAC) Conference 2025, which is being held in Istanbul from 6 to 10 October.

On 10 October at 9.20 am, Immotion CEO Rod Findley will lead a presentation with a session titled Educational Technology’s Role in the Future of Aquariums: Opportunity or Existential Threat?

Immersive, inspiring storytelling

Along with its participation, Immotion is also celebrating the onboarding of its latest partner, Istanbul Aquarium (Istanbul Akvaryum), this year’s conference host.

Immotion is currently working with more than 135 institutions on five continents and continues to expand its global presence. The company’s growth is a reflection of its dual mission: to support its partners’ conservation and educational objectives while offering audiences VR experiences they won’t forget.

“We are proud to be part of such an elite group of institutions through EUAC, and we fully support their mission of advancing education and conservation,” says Findley.

“This conference is an incredible opportunity to connect with leaders across Europe, as we continue to grow globally and deliver immersive storytelling that inspires action for change.”

On 6 October, the conference will begin with an Icebreaker Event at Istanbul Aquarium, where attendees will have the opportunity to experience Immotion’s Undersea Explorer virtual reality attraction.

The show floor opens on 7 October at the Crowne Plaza Istanbul Florya. Immotion will exhibit at stand #32 and will present its acclaimed library of virtual reality films, including Dolphins of the Reef, which most recently won the Best of VR Award at the 2025 Los Angeles Film Awards.

Immotion’s participation in EUAC 2025 demonstrates the company’s dedication to providing mission-aligned VR content for aquariums, conservation organisations, and research institutions globally.

Recently, Immotion shared details of its growth in the European market, including partnerships with new major institutions such as Whipsnade Zoo, Palma Aquarium, and London Zoo.
