New attraction includes an arcade and magic showroom

The Magicians Room, a new magic-themed speakeasy, is due to open next month at the Linq Promenade shopping centre in Las Vegas.

Opening on 20 October and described as a hidden world of magic, the Magicians Room is a unique attraction for families by day and adults by night.

It offers a two-part experience, the first being a cutting-edge and nostalgic “crane-only arcade” with interactive claw machines.

The second is behind a concealed entrance to the magic showroom, with guests able to enter via a “human crane” elevator or down the rabbit hole to a secret staircase.

Once inside, guests will enjoy magic performances by award-winning artists, including Farrell Dillon, The Conjurors, Late Night Magic and David Goldrake.

These shows will be enhanced by cutting-edge technology such as holograms, augmented reality and immersive effects.

Additionally, the venue will feature a magic-themed bar, and branded merchandise for purchase.

“The Magicians Room is our most imaginative concept yet, offering a magical blend of playful nostalgia, modern production and extraordinary talent,” said Damian Costa, Las Vegas entertainment industry veteran and co-owner of Pompey Entertainment, the venue’s developer and operator.

“From daytime shows designed for families to adults-only performances after dark, we’re creating an environment that delivers the wonder of live magic in a way that’s engaging, unexpected and perfect for locals and tourists alike.”

In more news for Vegas, an AI-powered version of 1939 musical fantasy film The Wizard of Oz has launched at the Sphere entertainment destination.

Also, the first-ever Universal Horror Unleashed attraction has launched in the city as part of the Area15 expansion.
