Isle of Wight Council looks to create new all-weather water-based theme park

Isle of Wight Council: Securing a new all-weather attraction 'a priority'

Isle of Wight council leader, Cllr Dave Stewart, has said in a recent interview that a new all-weather attraction is a must for the island.

According to Stewart, the island’s unique climate makes it ideal for a Center Parcs-style attraction or a water park.

In his first extended interview since the election, he said an all-weather attraction would offer ‘a huge shot in the arm for the Island’s tourism industry during the winter months’ and would provide jobs and the potential for more hotels.
