News
Expo 2020 Dubai. United Arab Emirates. US Department of State. RFP. Request for proposals

The US Department of State has issued a request for proposals for the fundraising, project management, design, construction and operation of a US Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai.

The six-month long World Expo will take place from October 2020 through April 2021 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It will be the first Expo to take place in the Middle East and is expected to attract 25 million visitors.

The Department of State is responsible for US participation in international exhibitions. It requests that those considering submitting read the Theme Guide, Participant Guide and Self-build Guide when preparing proposals.

In partnership with the US-UAE Business Council and Expo 2020 Dubai, the State Department’s Expo Unit will hold a series of virtual and in-person information sessions over the next two months to highlight a range of opportunities for businesses and community leaders to participate in and support the US Pavilion.

These information sessions will take place in Washington DC, New York, Detroit, Houston and San Francisco.

The closing date for RFP submissions is 17 April 2018.
