IAAPA FEC Summit 2023

Networking and educational opportunities await attendees

IAAPA, the global association for the attractions industry, has opened registration for its upcoming FEC Summit, taking place in January 2023.

Taking place in Nashville, Tennessee, US, the Summit will offer valuable networking and learning opportunities for anyone in the FEC (Family Entertainment Center) sector.

With an educational theme of “Reimagine. Transform. Lead.”, IAAPA will encourage attendees to reimagine the industry and discover tangible ways operators can transform their facilities, attractions, experiences, and business models. “Take the next steps to lead your experience-craving local community into the future of location-based entertainment,” says a representative.

Engaging with peers

Attendees will be involved in conversations about keeping their FEC business fresh and finding out the key attributes that keep customers returning to their facility. Networking opportunities will include a music-themed Sunday night evening reception, where participants are encouraged to join in the fun atmosphere with a shirt featuring their favourite band or even dressing up as a well-known music personality.

As a leading sector body, IAAPA has represented industry attractions and supplier companies for over a century. Members span over 100 countries, including professionals from theme parks, water parks, FECs, zoos, aquariums, museums, manufacturers and suppliers.

Registration now open

The IAAPA FEC Summit will take place 22-24 January 2023 at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel. Prospective attendees should register by 30 November to secure an Advanced Rate, saving up to 30% on ticket price. The cost for IAAPA Members is $599, and Not-Yet-Members is $999. Attendees can obtain special hotel room rates online in advance.

Registration is also open for IAAPA Expo, which returns to Orlando in November this year. Representatives from over 850 companies from around the world are expected to showcase new products and services at the industry’s largest trade show event.

IAAPA Expo Europe, which took place earlier this month, saw an increase in attendance by almost a third compared to the previous event.
