Decision imminent on new snow centre in middlesborough

The fate of a new £30m snow centre in Middlesborough is about to be decided by the town’s planning committee.

According to local newspaper, The Gazette, the committee is scheduled to meet on Friday, March 3rd.

Prism Planning, acting on behalf of developers, Cool Runnings (NE) Ltd., said it was hopeful the application would be approved ‘within the three-month target time frame’.

Teesside company, Cool Runnings, described feedback from the local community during the consultation process as ‘overwhelmingly positive’.

If the project gets the green light, it will be built on a seven acre site between the Temenos sculpture at Middlehaven Dock and Middlesborough.
