365 Global Tickets, the Jersey-based online distribution network for attractions and activities, are delighted to announce the signing on 9th January 2017 of a contract with Gateway Ticketing Systems Inc. of Gilbertsville, Pennsylvania, to electronically integrate with their newly launched Galaxy Connect™ cloud-based platform.

Gateway Ticketing Systems, Inc., is the world leader in ticketing software, admission control and revenue generation for industries including attractions, museums, theme parks, waterparks, tours, zoos, aquariums and historic sites.

Galaxy Connect is their hosted middleware solution that connects attractions to a hosted platform to allow for a single API onward connectivity to third-party distribution, thus saving these suppliers the task of themselves integrating to multiple global distributors.

“We saw a tremendous opportunity to enhance the attraction-and-distributor relationship by simplifying the integration process,” says Michael Andre, President and Chief Executive Officer, Gateway Ticketing Systems. “Galaxy Connect also issues live tickets which eliminates the cumbersome voucher redemption process.”

365 Global Tickets are possibly the world’s leading localised B2C distribution network of attractions and activities with currently 11 fully localised domains and another 6 in the pipeline for launch in 2017.

With an exciting model of fully localised international domains managed from a central treasury and data-base, 365 Global Tickets provides a central point of contact for supplier contracts wishing to expand their International reach, whilst allowing the network of Licensed Partners to concentrate on building distribution from the localized domain within their territory and enhancing local supplier relationships.

Andre Flambard, MD of 365 Global Tickets, says, “By connecting to this Gateway middleware it gives us the opportunity to provide a localised global distribution sales network to any existing supplier who uses Gateway’s ticketing software through a single API connection with Galaxy Connect.

“By being able to make the booking directly into the supplier database and electronically transfer the admission barcode this facilitates the increasing demands for mobile admissions from the consumer plus delivers a robust and electronic audit trail for the attraction.”

Scott Lobaugh, Director of Business Development, Gateway Ticketing Systems, adds, “It’s exciting to bring international distributor offerings to our customer base, allowing them to cost-effectively open up new international markets. We’re truly creating a global community of suppliers and distributors in the attraction space.”
