Christie Professional Services helps partners around the world to get the most from their investment

Christie, the global visual and audio technology company, has expanded its Professional Services offer and made some new executive appointments. Francois Godfrey and Maz Zaeefjou will take on the roles of directors of sales and business development within the Professional Services team.

Christie Professional Services helps partners around the world to get the most from their investment, increasing the life of their AV systems by maintaining, troubleshooting, and handling critical system issues.

Within the department, Godfrey and Zaeefjou will look after new business development opportunities and partnerships, as the Professional Services offer expands into more markets, including large scale attractions, government and more.

Experienced professionals join the team

“We’re excited to have both Francois and Maz join our Professional Services team,” says Josh Kolbeck, senior director, NOC and business operations, Professional Services, Christie.

“Both are seasoned sales and business professionals with years of experience, and they will be a great asset to the growing Professional Services team. There is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ solution for maintaining an organization’s AV system, and their varied expertise gained in prior roles will prove invaluable as we seek to tailor our services to each customer’s unique needs and budget – whether our partner has a new Christie display solution or one that’s been serving them for years.”

Godfrey brings a wealth of experience to his new role with Christie, having worked as a director of projection and technical services for a cinema exhibitor as well as in the sales and marketing teams of AV manufacturers. Meanwhile, Zaeefjou has worked for Christie for five years and was previously a senior manager in the company’s Enterprise division. He also has 25 years of experience in managing sales and engineering projects.

Originally created to support the cinema market, Christie’s Professional Services now also supports integrators and end-users in planetariums, theme parks and attractions, museums, science centres and more. It has a global network of customer service engineers, project managers, and training and service technicians and can provide the parts and expertise to keep systems up and running.

Earlier this year, Christie officially became a technology partner for the redevelopment of BAFTA’s headquarters in London.
