Cherry Hill Programs (CHP), the Holiday Division of Photogenic Inc. (PGI), a souvenir photography company providing ground-breaking capture technologies, has announced a strategic partnership with Portable North Pole (PNP). This year, the company hopes to increase guest interaction beyond the Santa sets by giving all visitors to its 650+ locations across North America free phone calls from Santa and a special, free video message from the North Pole.
This holiday season, customers who make a reservation to see Santa at a CHP location will get a personalised phone call from the Man in Red before their visit. This is part of CHP’s recently launched whereissanta.com unique reservation platform. A personalised video message from Santa’s buddies at the North Pole, powered by PNP, is also provided to visitors so they can continue the holiday celebration after the visit.
A strategic partnership
“This strategic partnership just makes so much sense for both us and our guests,” says John Barbieri, CHP’s Chief Strategy Officer. “Aside from marrying the #1 onsite Santa Experience Company with the #1 online Santa experience company, our guests get to extend their holiday tradition past the sets with free, value-add, socially shareable and emotionally charging products.”
Photogenic’s objective is to have over 1 million free digital items redeemed through this partnership, with up to 2 million families expected to visit CHP Santa photo experiences this holiday season.
“As a part of our commitment to enhancing the guest experience and to revolutionizing the industry through innovation, this partnership, coupled with our proprietary technologies allows us to extend the guest experience far beyond physical venue visits,” adds Chris Landtroop, PGI and CHP’s Vice President of Marketing & Communications stated. “Our mission with these advances is to provide easy-to-use tools to create user-generated content (UGC), including customized images and bespoke videos.”
Giving back to the community
In addition to PGI’s 2022 mission to Give-A-Way a Million free items this season, the goal to serve the community and raise funds for its charity partners also stays front of mind. Giving back to the community is an essential component of CHP and PGI’s purpose to add magic to every experience and is at the heart of the holiday season. In combination with its photo experiences, the company’s Magic of Giving initiative, which debuted in 2021, generates money and awareness for selected charitable partners.
“There are few things more magical than the gift of support,” says Landtroop. “Giving back to communities through partnerships that work to build a better tomorrow is connected to the same mission that drives our commitment to giveaway free products – bring magic to every experience by capturing moments that last a lifetime.”
Guests can join in with the Magic of Giving initiative by donating to Autism Speaks Inc., The Humane Society of the United States, and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. So far, the campaign has generated more than $2 million in charitable contributions.
This summer, Photogenic also announced plans to continue investing in future technologies and developing its employees.
