The unique tower ride is attracting interest from theme parks worldwide.

Extreme Engineering, a leading adventure attractions company, is set to launch its new tower ride The Hooli-Hoop at the IAAPA Expo Asia in June.

The brand-new Hooli-Hoop Tower Ride is unique to the market. Three towers are used in this attraction, each of which has a different ride path and thrill level. Riders will launch, drop, and spin down twisted steel columns from a height of 27 feet. To increase the intensity even further there is an optional spinning platform available.

Designed for families

The patent-pending Hooli-Hoop will make its premiere at this year’s IAAPA Expo Asia in Singapore and is available to purchase now. The attraction is designed for families to enjoy together and is suitable for riders from 3 foot 4 inches tall (101.6 cm). Oliver Wilson, the 7-year-old grandson of Extreme Engineering’s founder Jeff Wilson, named the ride.

Wilson says: “Oliver absolutely was excited to see the tower attraction and immediately referred to it as the Hooli-Hoop. We had to use Oliver’s name for the ride.”

Phil Wilson, the chief development officer at Extreme Engineering, says: “We are thrilled to have a family tower ride added to our attraction lineup. The Hooli-Hoop is perfect in modular spaces, indoors and can allow up to 18 riders at all times. This ride breaks the mould from traditional tower attractions.”

Highly anticipated new product

The Hooli-Hoop has already attracted interest from theme parks around the world, with locations to be revealed soon.

It can be used in most indoor spaces as it only requires an entry door that is 8 feet wide and 10 feet height. The three towers can operate in a small ride envelope, with safe operation in a footprint of just 40 feet.

“One of the best ride features is that the towers allow riders to come into close proximity with each other. You feel as if you can almost reach out and high-five the rider next to you.” Wilson continues.

The Hooli-Hoop can serve over 540 passengers every hour. It features a rotating platform that is optional, imaginative theming possibilities, and a competitive price.

Extreme Engineering also plans to reveal its new Extreme Twist Tower attraction at Saudi Entertainment & Amusement (SEA) Expo later this month.
