Leading expert in ticketing software, admission control and revenue generation for the leisure industry, Gateway Ticketing Systems has appointed Matthew Hoenstine as Destinations Principal.
He will be providing high-level strategic and project planning services to Gateway (and non-Gateway) customers keen to improve their business operations.
Hoenstine brings 20 years of industry knowledge and considerable operational expertise to his new role.
Hoenstine joins Gateway from Universal Orlando Resort where he worked in a wide range of roles including Pricing & Analytics Manager, Business Systems Improvement Manager and Assistant Director of Product Development.
He currently serves on the Finance and Technology Committee of the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).
“Matthew has lived and breathed destinations operations over the course of his career. He’s equally adept at strategies to enhance the guest experience as he is at operational issues such as fraud mitigation and product pricing,” comments Don Eash, Gateway’s Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer.
“Matthew understands how to best utilise technology to improve business operations. He is a true asset not only to us but to all the customers and other destination attractions that will work with him.”
