Company will offer interactive & VR masterplans as well as flythrough videos

Katapult, the international guest experience design agency, has announced that it is adding new services to undertake visitor attraction and theme park masterplanning projects. The company, which has more than two decades of experience in the industry and has worked with some of the world’s leading attractions, will add a new masterplanning service to its trusted insights-driven design process.

With this new capability, Katapult will offer features such as an interactive masterplan that provides stakeholders and investors with an opportunity to see the environment in greater detail; a VR version that enables them to experience the design from the visitor’s point of view; and a dynamic flythrough video of the future site, which can be used for marketing and presentations.

New services build on the company’s experience

Those wishing to find out more can find the Katapult team at a number of key industry events during 2022. This includes the Saudi Entertainment and Amusement Expo in May, and IAAPA Europe in London in September. The company will be showcasing its masterplanning and insights-driven design services at these events, as well as giving updates on some of its current projects.

“We’ve already worked on a number of theme park masterplanning projects, so this is nothing new to our experienced team, however, we are still excited to launch this service,” says Dawn Foote, Katapult co-founder & CEO.

“Masterplanning fits perfectly into our insights-driven design approach and we look forward to working with our clients across the globe to create inspiring, immersive and commercially-focused themed attractions.”

Katapult creates and designed themed attractions and experiences that engage visitors around the world. The company’s work is enjoyed by 50 million visitors each year, at 81 attractions, in 18 different countries. In addition to providing a quality visitor experience, the firm helps clients to generate more income, engage with more fans and bring their vision to life.

At IAAPA Expo 2021 in Orlando last November, Katapult joined forces with Simworx to present the Ferrari Experience. This is a media-based midway attraction concept that includes immersive simulator rides, an esports hub and exclusive themed dining experiences.
