Plans to Transform Vacant Atlantic City Casino into Waterpark and Hotel Complex

News

A vacant casino in Atlantic City is once again in line for redevelopment as a waterpark complex.

The site, once the city’s top-earning casino, closed in 2014 and a previous attempt to carry out such a project fell through.

City officials say it is now being bought by R&R Development Group, LLC of Ventnor.

The group plans to restore the hotel and build a 100,000-square foot indoor water park and family entertainment centre. The intention is to keep children entertained while their parents gamble.
