Construction has begun on SouthTown Wake Park in Rock Hill, SC.

The 25-acre full sized cable wakeboard complex has a facebook page but little else is know about the project.

Wake parks like South Town and the BSR Cable Park in Waco, Texas tap into a growth in the market for extreme sports combined with lifestyle leisure facilities. BSR Cable Park also includes superslides, the world’s longest lazy river with tubes that fit beer coolers, accommodation and a two acre surf lake is under construction.
